Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Vendor FAQ's

Prospective vendors can be considered for opportunities anytime throughout the year. Our Inclusive Procurement Committee reviews supplier and service provider inquiries regularly and submits to respective department heads for consideration.

Sole Proprietors, a company with no employees, may become a vendor (tutor, lessons etc.) and can be approved within a few days depending on how long the background check takes to come back from the DOJ. Organizations with multiple employees often take longer if the owner does not have an account set up with the DOJ to have their employees Livescanned. The length of time it takes for a company to establish a DOJ account is dependent on how busy the DOJ is at any given time. Our Vendor Relations department is always working with the appropriate governmental agencies to ensure student safety while streamlining our processes.

Through the online application and review of the questions on the Vendor Agreement documents. Any business may apply to become an approved vendor to serve students enrolled in IEM schools as long as they provide educational services or products that can be approved. Vendors are reviewed by both the business side of our organization and the educational side.

Vendors are paid via ACH or wire. This means vendors are paid within 30 days from the date our accounting department receives the invoice.

Prospective and current vendors may contact vendorrelations@ieminc.org or call 1-800-979-4436 and ask for the Vendor Relations department. Currently enrolled families need to work with their ES on vendor questions.

This depends on the project. However, any vendor that provides services on the DWT property, must have proper documents such as an enhanced ID, passport, or NEXUS card.
